My Updated Main article
This is an an updated version of my main article
Pasta
Sacrifice is a new and upcoming rock band that have already sold over 5000
albums in a week after releasing it on ITunes at the beginning of the month.
They have also sold out all of their gigs so far after releasing the album. I
caught up with pasta sacrifice after their gig in Sheffield.
I asked them
what started Pasta Sacrifice “Well back in our music class we grouped together
because we had to cover a song and from there we became best friends and
covered other songs, eventually we made our own songs and enjoyed it so much
that we made an album
How was the
production of the album? “We enjoyed coming in early mornings and staying late
nights composing, tuning and singing. There were ups and downs we fell out now
and then but we always came together and sorted it out then just carried on. We
really wanted to prove to others that we could succeed in making an album”
What was
your high point of creating an album? “Our favourite part was finishing, we put
blood sweat and tears into the album and it seems to have paid off.”
How was the
experience of creating an album? “It was one I hope we feel again, it was great
I wish I could do it every day but not for a while yet”
What’s next
for Pasta Sacrifice? “Well for now just touring but after that maybe after that
we could definitely start thinking about it”
What bands
have inspired you? “Well our favourite bands are The Ramones and Madness, we
try to base our beat on something similar but apart from that we love David
Bowie”
